The Uganda Initiative for Integrated Management of Non-Communicable Diseases (UINCD) is a research organisation that works to find better ways to address non-communicable diseases (NCDs). UINCD aims at building capacity in the realms of prevention, care, training and research to enable the provision of effective and integrated care along the NCDs management spectrum. UINCD has a strong network of subnational, national, and international partners through which it undertakes a range of collaborations. UINCD is currently advancing its commitment to advancing the NCD agenda through the implementation of various programs. UINCD was founded in 2013 and incorporated in 2014. The founding institutions were Makerere University College of Health Sciences, Mulago National Referral Hospital, Ministry of Health Uganda, Uganda NCD Alliance, and Yale University School of Medicine. Goats are good at climbing and adapted to mountain environments.
